Residual Pressure Valves Valves are designed to retain a minimum amount of brake pressure, preventing excessive pedal travel for firmer pedal in disc or drum brake systems. Aluminum housing is tapped for 1/8" NPT on inlet and outlet. Use 2 lb. valve for disc brake and 10 lb. for drum brakes. Valves are sold separately, or complete with 1/8" NPT to 3/8"-24 brake line adapters to fit most 3/16" hard brake lines.
